  12. Projet divers d'un graphiste

Looking this picture from the simulation project of the Flash game :
  13. Projet divers d'un graphiste

Thank Zerosquare for the translate. I will try to speak in english. I read the post in french, it's very interesting. Pixel Walk (the graphist) understand the specific technique from the Jaguar. He is a good graphist and learning the flash programmation. The game "Steep" in Flash, will be finished in april 2011. There's some model graphic from the game. Look the first level from "Steep" : http://www.mirari.fr/i5Zi Pixel Walk understand the principe of the sprite technique. If the project can be realised, there wiil be some works for adapting the graphic at the Jaguar.

English version I met a young and very talented graphic artist that also does retouching. He draws a lot, and a videogame company in Paris he worked with for a professional contract is interested in some of his ideas. We eventually talked about homebrew videogaming. He told me he was very interested in being involved in projects running on old platforms. I told him about the RGC association and the conventions it organizes, and about the community it gathers. He's about 19 - 20 years old and already creates nice things with Flash. He's not a programmer but he's very proficient in graphic design. He's not really familiar with the Jaguar and the Lynx, but he told me he would glad if his work could be used in projects. We met again recently, and he's planning to create a small Flash game he would distribute through Facebook (or simply on the Web if it's possible). It's a side-view arcade game where you control a skater which slides on ramps, etc. The style would be more or less similar to the games that exists on the GP32 (you control and manage the inertia/gravity by giving forwards or backwards impulses to the character). He asked me whether it would be adaptable to an old machine. I thought about the Jaguar. If he gives us the graphics, is it possible to make something out of them ?
  15. New mouse project!
