Paris, 25 février 2006 - Dans moins de deux mois, l’Atari Connexion 2006 ouvrira ses portes. Les inscriptions sont enfin ouvertes ! Cette manifestation marque un nouveau départ pour son équipe organisatrice, l’association Retro-gaming Connexion. Désormais, ce sont deux manifestations distinctes qui marqueront son activité annuelle.

 

 

L’Atari Connexion, anciennement connue sous le nom de Jaguar Connexion, est entièrement recadrée sur la marque éponyme. Le temps d’un week-end (22 & 23 avril), nous vous invitons à venir (re)découvrir les machines, jeux et logiciels Atari dans la commune de Congis sur Thérouanne, à proximité de Paris. La communauté, toujours bien active, fera démonstration des dernières productions sur Jaguar, Lynx, 2600, Nuon ou bien encore sur la gamme ordinateurs (ST, Falcon, etc.).

 

Comme chaque année désormais, la boutique anglaise 16/32 bits Systems fera le déplacement en la personne de Nick Harlow. D’autres invités nous gratifieront de leur présence, tel Rodolphe Czuba, qui sera de passage avec, peut-être, quelques cartes accélératrices CT63 sous les bras... Plusieurs membres de la Jagware Team seront également présents, afin de nous dévoiler en avant-première la Jag CF, un lecteur de cartes Compact Flash pour Jaguar, aux possibilités étonnantes et toutes plus prometteuses les unes que les autres. Et tout ceci, sans compter l’apparition de quelques jeux Lynx et Falcon encore jamais dévoilés... Les amateurs n’auront pas le temps de s’ennuyer, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale. La nourriture est incluse dans les forfaits et plusieurs concours seront organisés avec, comme toujours, divers lots à la clé !

Atari Connexion 2006 : the subscription is opened!

 

Paris the 25th of February – In two month will begin ATARI CONNEXION 2006 its doors open. This convention is a new start for the Retro-gAming Connexion Association leading team. From now on, two conventions will be in the annual news.

 

The ATARI Connexion, once known as the Jaguar Connexion, will be blessed under the sign of the holy Fuji. For one Weekend (22th & 23 th April) join us in the little town of Congis sur Thérouane (near Paris) to revel in the Atari universe. The community is still alive and it will show you its newest creations for Jaguar, Lynx, VCS, ST and Falcon and also Nuon.

 

Just like every other year Nick Harlow of 16/32 Systems Webshop will be there from England to celebrate with us the French ATARI Fest of the Year, but he won’t be alone! Rodolphe czuba will come with some of his amazing CT63s, the Jagware Team will be there with their first production: the new standard of the Atari Jaguar : the JagCF. But the other machines won’t be left out, new games on Lynx, Falcon, Nuon will be presented. Meal, tournaments and a good atmosphere are all included in the ticket.

We remind you that the general Retro-Gaming aspect has been removed from the Atari Connexion. At the end of the Year the Retro-gaming connexion will be organised to explore this.
